How to Enjoy Satoni Farm

Preparations

Satoni Farm is an outdoor blueberry picking facility.

Please bring the following items to make your visit more comfortable.

What to Bring

・Hats

・Sunscreen

・Towels

・Drinks for hydrating (water bottles, bottled beverages)

・Sneakers and socks that you don’t mind getting dirty ←Sandals may cause unexpected injury.

After Arriving at the Farm

We will now explain what to do after arriving at the farm and what precautions to take.

What to Do After Checking in at the Reception

  1. Please pay the entrance fee at the reception. For Jalan payments, please have your reservation screen ready to show.
  2. You will receive a picking bucket, arm covers, and plastic gloves.
  3. Small lockers are available, but please keep any valuables on your person if possible.
  4. After you are finished picking, you can eat your picked blueberries and blackberries on the spot or take them home for 100 grams = 200 yen.

 

Vending Machine and Desserts Sold from Food Truck

The following are available at Satoni Farm ♪

 

Drink vending machine

→Please use the one in the farm parking lot. Drinks are also sold at the reception’s plastic greenhouse.

 

Cold drinking water

→To prevent heat stroke, water is available free of charge at the reception.

 

Soft-serve ice cream, soda floats, shaved ice, etc.

→Sold from a food truck on the farm premises.

 

Precautions

For your safety and enjoyment, please be aware of the following points:

 

Stay away from the river

There is a river running within the Satoni Farm premises. Please be especially careful if there are small children with you.

Move away from any insects you see

We grow blueberries in a natural setting, so bees and caterpillars may be around. If you see any of them, please move away calmly and inform our staff.

Be careful not get heat stroke

In mid-summer, the farm can be scorching hot, with temperatures over 35 degrees Celsius. Stay hydrated and take breaks frequently.

If you feel unwell, please inform the reception staff immediately.
